"Here are some pictures of Linc that I took yesterday with my new digital camera. I thought they turned out ok. Last time we weighed him, he was right at 100 lbs. & only 10 months old. We are back in the routine of working with him on search and rescue and he is steadily learning."
Greta Earns Mission Ready Man Trailing Title Before Reaching

Her Owner Wrote:
"I had just finished scanning the new photos when Ron told me that you had e-mailed him inquiring about Greta. Greta is our super star! She passed her Mission Ready Man Trailing test one day before her 9 month birthday!
We knew the test was coming up but not when it was to be. And we knew one handler didn't want to know when she was being tested as it made her too nervous, but she didn't realize that we wouldn't be told ourselves. I took Ron and Greta and two flankers (one was Coby with one of your pups) out to the trail start and off they went. Then the instructor (Clyde) told me that it was the test trail and that Greta would run it slow since she was so young and the oldest trail she had done was 8 hours old. This trail was 28 hours old and over a mile long.
But little Greta (at only 8 months old) did it!
She did do it so slow that Ron was calling her "Greta Slow Foot" but she did it. I only know of one other dog who got certified so young. Five dogs were tested that day and only three passed, so it was no easy task.
